Escape your dreadful fate!
An atmospheric retro platformer, where you are trapped in a perilous dark cave. Equipped only with your headlight, you must overcome the obstacles ahead of you and find your way back to the surface.
How-to-Play:
LEFT & RIGHT ARROW KEYS : to move left and right.
SPACE : to jump.
HOLD LCTRL & UP & DOWN ARROW KEYS : to climb.
HOLD LSHFT & UP & DOWN ARROW KEYS : to move the flashlight up & down.
E : to interact.
R : to respawn to checkpoint and refresh platforms.
This my very first game that I completed and first game jam. I'm still a beginner and I'm looking forward for your feedback. Enjoy.

I won! it wasnt easy, and that's great because it means that it had a good balance of level design, aesthetic, mechanics and difficulty.
I would look a little bit in the jumps and the collisions, they werent as accurate as they seemed and I found myself trying to jump on a platform and failing to do it.
it had a great use of the green/yellow/orange and black.

I played your game and had fun.
The gameplay and graphics, I feel, are solid. I felt like I was slowly crawling through the dark caverns, hoping I'd find my way out. If I may have just one complaint: the one section that combined the use of falling rocks and temporary platforms felt somewhat random, in that if you don't start it at just the right timing, you'll either get hit by a rock, or you'll fall to your death while avoiding getting hit by a rock.
red yellow green pallete is reat. i like the combined sphere and cone light
Got lost not too far in, but the game has a very nice atmosphere.
